When does it arrive?
Immediately. The download link appears on the confirmation screen the moment you check out, and it is emailed to you as well.
What format is it in?
A PDF you download and print — at home, or at any print shop. It works on a tablet too, in any PDF reader, and in apps like GoodNotes or Notability if you prefer writing digitally.
Which page size do I pick?
You don't. Separate A4 and US Letter versions are both inside the same download, so it prints correctly wherever you are.
Can I get a physical book?
Yes — the Gambling Recovery Journal is a paperback on Amazon, £15.99, printed and posted by them. Same 120 pages as the PDF, bound. Here is the difference between the two.
Everything else in the shop is an instant PDF you print yourself, as often as you like. Nothing bought on this site is posted to you.
Where do I start?
With the free trigger map. It is a real page out of the 120-page journal, given away whole, and it will tell you whether the way I write is any use to you before you spend anything.
After that: the Gambling Recovery Journal if you want to work the whole thing through, or the Daily Recovery Journal if four minutes a day is all you have. If you are not the one gambling, start with A Small Gift.
Can I print it more than once?
As often as you like, forever, for yourself or your household. If a week goes badly and you want a clean copy, print a clean copy.
Can I get a refund?
If the file will not open, is corrupted, or is not what the listing described, contact me and I will fix it or refund you in full. Because it is digital, the fourteen-day cancellation right ends once the download begins — but if you have changed your mind and have not downloaded it, contact me and I will refund you.
The Amazon paperback is a separate purchase from Amazon, so their returns policy applies to it rather than mine.
Is this therapy?
No. These are journals, not treatment, and no substitute for help. The National Gambling Helpline is 0808 8020 133 — free, 24 hours, and they have heard it all before.
